If i did make it through and got placed I was hoping it would be within the tokyo or kyoto prefecture but I know it reallyyy competitive. Right now I just wanna know if I even made it to the second round lol but to ans your question; no word yet re interviews!

Yes i did go to UWI i was in the evening school though and same time frame too ! Which area of Japan are you hoping for?

Trinidad is so small because I'm sure we were in some of the same classes, like I know Chadee's classes were in the evenings so both part time and full time students were together. Man he was soo boringg lol!

I`m a Jamaican JET living in Sendai. I was told by one of my friends who`s also an aspiring applicant that the J`can notifications are out so if there are still J`cans who haven't heard u may want to call the embassy.

What pisses me off about this is that some of us are applying from overseas. I don't know about you guys, but i need to get my stuff together to fly home to interview, if i interview. The sooner i know, the better.

hi guys so i just called the Embassy because the waiting is killing me and they said the same thing; notifications will be sent either tomorrow or next week. She said only those who were shortlisted will be notified. I asked her if she could tell me the status of my application and she was like err no lol.sigh so we just gotta wait man
