Surprised that most of you (so far) are opting for early departure. I thought about it, but decided I'd much rather go through the typical orientation.

I considered it too but realized that it didn't hurt try. I had nothing impeding myself from going early so why not opt for it. If I don't get Early Departure, I can always be selected for July, alternated, or worst - declined.

I'm working as a substitute teacher right now so I can basically leave tomorrow (after I get the money together) so like Merkypie said, there's no real reason keeping me here.

I debating on early departure as well. Yet like the other's have said, there is no harm in trying when I don't have any reasons not to try.

Is anyone else driving themself crazy and constantly checking the Official JET USA website to see if they've updated it with the application finally being available or coming here to see if there's an announcement about the exact day it'll finally be online? Or is that just me? I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting pretty anxious at this point, especially now that the application is pretty much the only thing I have left to do...
