Yes, I looked at travel insurance too but it was nearly $800 for 12 months (including the medical side of it) - might just go with home contents in Japan.

Quick question...
Who did you send your stuff home with? Japan Post?
Just curious because come February, if I decide to not recontract for a third year, I'd like to start sending stuff home bit by bit when the weather gets a bit warmer.
