Do we need to do the TB test? I thought it was just the X-Ray and Certificate of Health?
What code did you guys put down for the AFP check? Is it 35 or 30?
The certificate of health states: "Results of a tuberculosis test must be provided if the necessary information [X-Ray results] is not completed below." I don't have the time to visit a doctor for a referral for an X-Ray, then return to the doctor with the results to have the certificate completed, so I am opting for the TB test.
Btw you can get a TB test done at a travel doctor (

I contacted the Perth consulate about the police check and was told:
"You will also need a National Police Certificate for Australia – this is issued by the WA Police for residents of WA so I assume you will need one issued by Victorian Police. At any rate, the National Police Certificate is, as the name suggests, a nationwide check. For more information take a look at the following link.
http://www.police.wa.gov.au/Ourservices ... fault.aspx At the bottom it states that interstate applicants must apply to their respective police jurisdiction."
Obviously this information is in regards to a Perth applicant currently living in Victoria, but it should answer the AFP vs state NPC question.
Sorry for the long post! I am trying to make up for all of the information I gleaned off these forums when I was a lurker.
