Favorite japanese Words!!!

ちよだい　This is ａ fabulous word my first graders use(hope I spelled that right??) I love it when Ｔｈｅｙ are super informal with Ｔｈｅｉｒ　ｔｅａｃｈｅｒｓ　ａｎｄ　ｙｅｌｌ　ｔｈｉｓ．

I am not quite sure what this means... do you know? I have never heard it. Do you happen to me 冗談　（じょうだん）? I hear this but not often.

OK OK lol the big YO threw me off. I like the Kansai version of 違う。　ちゃう！

絶対領域　-- (zettai ryouiki) "absolute territory" the exposed area of skin between the top of a girl's socks and the bottom of her skirt

自業自得　-- (jigoujitoku) reap what you sow

アホ -- definitions and translations vary...

and of course the 'nicknames' I picked up from my Taiwanese roommates during my time in Tokyo

面倒臭い　--　(mendoukusai) annoying; bothersome

助平　(sukebee) -- lecher

軟派　is a funny word too.. I like lots of words, I guess!

And I keep forgetting what they mean. . .

This is not really a Japanese word, yet very, very Japanese in many other ways:

because the literal translation is kinda funny.

爆発物＝ばくはつぶつ

because its really fun to say

(for people who can't read kana that's jidouhanbaiki= vending machine and bakuhatsubutsu= explosives)
