I am not quite sure what this means... do you know? I have never heard it. Do you happen to me 冗談 (じょうだん)? I hear this but not often.

ちょだい Choudai means 'give me'.
My first graders say 'Seal choudai!' all the time, as their version of a polite English request for stickers -.-

My favourite word would be ちがう.

絶対領域 -- (zettai ryouiki) "absolute territory" the exposed area of skin between the top of a girl's socks and the bottom of her skirt

自業自得 -- (jigoujitoku) reap what you sow

アホ -- definitions and translations vary...

and of course the 'nicknames' I picked up from my Taiwanese roommates during my time in Tokyo :P

面倒臭い -- (mendoukusai) annoying; bothersome

助平 (sukebee) -- lecher

軟派 is a funny word too.. I like lots of words, I guess!

Either 被害妄想 (ひがいもうそう), meaning "persecution complex," or 連れション (つれしょん), a noun meaning "going to the bathroom together."

konichiwa, sayonara, and arigato. Actually, those are the only Japanese words I know (besides some Japanese brands names). . . .
And I keep forgetting what they mean. . .

This is not really a Japanese word, yet very, very Japanese in many other ways:
"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..."

Still find it hilarious :D

自動販売機=じどうはんばいき

because the literal translation is kinda funny.

爆発物=ばくはつぶつ

because its really fun to say

(for people who can't read kana that's jidouhanbaiki= vending machine and bakuhatsubutsu= explosives)

Hmm not sure what the literal translation of自動販売機 is - something to do with automatically selling chance?! I'm not that good at kanji!

And wow - ばくはつぶつ really is fun to say! It's better as hiragana than kanji to me for some reason... *cough*

... yeah it's because I'm actually RUBBISH at reading kanji!

Automatic selling machine. Or self moving selling machine. =D We're just learning that word in my Japanese class.

To add to the discussion, my favourite word in Japanese is probably either ちょっと。。。 or やばい
