Forum Software Update

We have updated the phpbb software and there are going to be some changes on the site. If you have any questions, concerns or requests, please post them in the general section on this same announcement. We will be playing around with the aesthetics in the near future, but for now we are up and running.

The main reason for the changes are spam, and also the newer version allows sub-forums so we can clean up the menu and make it easier to navigate. Using this feature, we will be adding our publications into the forums for users to read and discuss online.

The forums were down from about 16:00-17:00 (Japan local time) this afternoon for some maintenance, but everything should be up and running now. Apologies for any inconvenience.
