DC alternate here, creeping into the shortlist post. Firstly, congrats on hearing about placements! Did they give you a date for when you have to accept it by? I'm trying to figure out when upgrades are likely to come xD

I don't think we have a choice whether or not we accept them since placements are final. I imagine those who choose to drop out because of placement issues will do so in the next week or two.

You may also see people drop out after May 31st, when we begin to talk to our preds and learn about living conditions, expectations, where we'll be working, etc.
