How "northern" are you?! There's 3 of us planning a meet up in Lancaster once we have our placement info.
UK short-list.

Maybe we could all bring a Japanese book with us (language textbook, Murakami novel etc) - and then whoever gets there first has something to do while they're waiting!

Thats a fine idea, I'll be able to put my huge hardback copy of the wind up bird to good use. Alternatively we could all dress in the colours of the Japanese flag

(this is not a serious suggestion)
6 in covent garden works for me as well.
What do I know of man's destiny? I could tell you more about radishes.

Yeah I will sit there reading my Japanese phrasebook (that I really should crack on wih) so someone can spot me. Punch and Judy is usually an ok pub, I say give that a go. Looking forward to it

I think I can probably do the 11th! Porterhouse is a great shout (they have loads of obscure beers that I've encountered on my travels, so it gets my vote), but if the weather's better then Punch & Judy (if it's the place I'm thinking of it has an outdoor balcony bit?). We could just meet in Covent Garden at 6 and go from there...
I can't believe there are 2 other people from the Sutton & Epsom area - maaaaaadness

but its great to know there are JETS in the local area!
Wow, I went to Nonsuch as well! I never expected anyone from the same school would be on JET. I wonder if we were ever at school together?
11th June sounds good to me. I can pretty much do any weekday other than Tuesdays.
Thats crazy! I was at Nonsuch from 2005-7 (sixth form), were you around then too?

I left in 2008 so you must have been in the year above me! I wonder if we might recognise each other at the meet up?
Covent Garden is good for me too. I agree that it might be easier to just meet up first then go somewhere, maybe like outside the station or something? It would make it a bit easier to recognise each other, although trying to spot everyone with a Japanese book would be funny.

***BRAINWAVE!***
How bout adding each other on Facebook?! It would give us an idea of who to look out for, and just generally seems like a useful thing to do
My real name is Heenali Patel, if any of you do feel like adding me. My profile pic is of a large group of indians lol, just to help you pick out the right Heenali
