Also, I remember in the application back there was a sheet which had a list of Japanese courses that you can take. I might type up a few on here if don't have it.
I SHOULD be doing a rather large assignment right now, but even being a JET alternate is getting me too excited to concentrate!

Thanks druidland! I'll make one & send anyone who's interested the details. On a less happy note went to the PO to get a new passport as mine will expire while we're there & it costs €90!!! Will have to wait for payday to get it done now
