Hey, congrats those who got shortlisted, but could I just ask a tiny favour?
Could you all not go please? Nothing personal, just want a seat on that plane.
Thanks,
xx

My name's Siobhán, I hadn't wanted to join the forums until there was positive news so was absolutely delighted to get shortlisted today!
My heart goes out to those who were made alternates, I hope you get upgraded!
Can't wait to meet you all soon.

Thanks RoBot.
It seems like the other short ists in other countries are already organising meet ups. After my semester is over we should all definitely try and get together before July

Made the shortlist woop!! It still doesn't feel real! I definitely second the plan to meet up before July. We could possibly set up a facebook group for the Irish JETs to keep in contact etc??
Also, fingers crossed for the Alternatives xx

I receieved an email from Naomi yesterday, saying that the letters had been sent out. In anticipation I rushed home from work to check my mail. Upon arrival I discovered a note from royal mail. It stated that they'd tried to deliver an envelope, though as it was too large for my letterbox it had been returned to their sorting office. Frustrated that my fate had once again been suspended I decided to leave early and collect it before work the next day. So today I left the house half an hour earlier than usual and drove to the sorting office. Upon handing the chap the delivery note I received a large envelope - addressed to my sister... Will this torture ever end!?
