Somewhat relatedly, I'm now starting to get worried about this driving mess as well. I don't even have a learner's permit (and even if I did, a learner's permit does not entitle you to apply for an IDP); as a teenager, everywhere I needed or wanted to go was readily accessible by self-propelled vehicles, walking, or public transit, and in my adult life much of that hasn't changed.

So I have to ask, is not having the ability to drive going to significantly hamper my ability to get a placement? D:

Mine was a 1:30, 2245 I think...it was fairly close to the registration room. Personally I think it went really well. I tripped over my words a few times and I hope they chalk it up nerves

It won't be a problem at all.

I wasn't even asked about driving, and i do have a license.

Mine was in 101 downstairs. I think it went well, but who knows what they think. Now it is just the agony of waiting!

Good luck to everyone today!!!

I was in 2245 as well! The interviewers were great and we even joked around and stuff! It was pretty much exactly as I thought it would be... Some questions were tough but fair, with a few seemingly random questions tossed in to discover what kind of person you are. All and all I'm quite pleased with how it went!

150 interviews? Yikes! On the plus side, one of my interviewers said the number or participants departing from Vancouver may go up this year!!

Good luck to all!

What yours today?
Yeah, they don't actually know the exact number of positions available-hopefully there will be more than 50, otherwise only one in three of us vancouver/bc-iretes gets in

I had my interview in Winnipeg today. The interviewers were pleasant and there were no unexpected curveballs. So now we just wait, hmm? :D

Unfortunately, you'll wait one more week, have the interview, and then wait some more!!! :D

The waiting is killer! Especially if you have other people already asking you when you're leaving...the whole 9 month application process does drag on a little
