I have had some difficulty getting my account activated at the CIR homepage. I took the previously mentioned advice and emailed cirhome@cirhomepage.org, but I have not heard anything. What else can I do to get activated?

Same here, I registered but still didn't get accepted...

I had trouble initially but just fired them an email and got a message back saying I was registered. I know the administrator is going to be out of action for a couple of weeks now. That may slow things down again.

Yeah, the people there are by far the most respectable I've met on any forum. I just hope I can officially join their ranks next year *fingers crossed*
