Hey guys, because of all the screw ups that have been occurring on the map, Merkypie decided to lock the map and make only a handful of people in charge of placing people on said map. If you want to be added to the map, you must post the following in a reply in this thread:

1. Name/username // placement

2. Was this placement:
a) Your first choice
b) second choice
c) third choice
d) None of your three choices
f) No requests were made

3. If you really want to write a little paragraph about things like where you're from or your thoughts on your placement, go ahead and write it in your post and it will be copy/pasted to your marker description.

Can we maybe bump this message to the first page of this thread? Or at least remove the old editing instructions pin from the map... It took me about 15 minutes of staring at the map trying to find the Edit button before I noticed it said something above that about contacting you and I found this post.

In any case, I'm an upgraded ALT, so I just got my placement:

I had looked at the map before my placement, and it wasn't dramatically different (still included instructions!) - also, I think some caching glitch caused me to see the edit button when I first went to the page today, and then it disappeared when I came back.

Well, if you read the map initially you wouldn't have spent 15 minutes trying to figure out that it was locked.

you made the commitment to making/updating the map, how about a little patience and consideration to match the confusion that comes with it? :/
