Meet-Up! (UK)

i think it would be a great idea for us all to meet up before pre-orientation

giving the geopgraphical size of the UK i dont think its really possible for us ALL to meet, plus wa can do that at pre-orientation anyway. Im flying from edinburgh so would anybody else from edinburgh want to get together for a drink or some food or just a chat before hand? date preferences?

I was also thinking this could be a nice idea but I'm a long way from Edinburgh! Hopefully the 2 days in London, 12-13th July will be a good chance for people to get to know fellow JETs a bit better

Last year, about 30 of us went to the pizza express the evening before the London orientation and it was class. Defo recommend organising something, it was a nice thing to do even just to calm down pre-pre-orientation nerves and to meet the other people who's lives had been flipped upside topsy-turvy by this whole JET thing.

Anyhow, I'm off to Hiosaki today to try and catch the last of the cherry blossoms!

yeh i dont think an entire UK meet up is really feasable tbh, probs best stickin to departure city, then we can have a big meet up in london for pre-orientation!
