I know they provide accommodation, but I don't know how many nights... Would it just be the one night or two? I wonder what time in the morning it starts on the both days too, trying to figure out whether it'd be better to take the sleeper-train or not.

My academic year finishes at the end of May, but I'm free anytime from the 26th May onwards. Also, as I live in Edinburgh I'm available to organise locations or tables or whatever needs be if there are a lot of us :)

I had heard that we didn't get any accommodation at all? There seems to be a lot of confusion/lack of information about pre-orientation... Hopefully we'll receive an update alongside our placement information!

I'm on the group too, though I probably lurk more than I post  Feel free to add me!

Hey Everyone,
I'm Michael, Just got round to registering on the forum with uni and all that, been reading for a while but never bothered to post for some reason.
From Falkirk area myself but have lived in Dundee studying at Abertay University for four years.
I'd be up for a meetup myself and preferably sometime in June (except the last weekend) for myself so busy getting ready in July. As I'm either in Dundee or near Falkirk anywhere is basically fine for me to travel to but Edinburgh seems to be the general consensus which is good for me!

Good to see so many Scottish people going and can't wait to meet all of you!

I was taught a year of Japanese at Abertay University (meant to be two years but our university decided it would be fun to cancel it half way through without telling us! which also meant we didn't get the proper Japanese qualification out of it) and I know my tutor then moved to Dundee University to set up classes as I went there a few times to meet with her and she provided me with an excellent reference, or so she tells me since I never got to see it myself. I know she said that a few from her class had applied so I presume some or one of you might be from it.
