THIS IS TO ALL THE 2012 ASPIRING JETs BORN IN 1984

Hey guys, I'm an aspiring 2012 applicant and I was born in 1984. Last week on the 29th Feb, I was fiddling with the calendar on my phone, seeing that this year is a leap year, I was trying to find any breaking news that took place (in the past) globally, during leap years. Anyway, to cut the long story short, I discovered that the calender of 2012 is exactly the SAME as the 1984 calendar, from Jan to Dec. So if u,ve been wondering what day were u born exactly, u can just check out this year's calendar.

Since the leap year comes every 4 years, it's interesting to know that between 1984 and now, this is the first time ever, to have a year that has an identical calendar like 84. When I do the math, it turns out that another year that will mimic 1984 in future would be 2040, by that time, all 1984 babies will be 56 years old. U can do the math with years to follow 2040.

So if you were born in 84 and ur reading this now, consider urself to be lucky and blessed to be alive to experience 2012 and re-live the year in which you were born.

I hope that luck will come to all of you 1984 babies who have applied for JET 2012, if ur not accepted this year, know that it's for a good reason that might not make sense to you now but will later make perfect sense because maybe there are greater things stored for you. As for me, I've stopped stressing whether or not I'll be considered, I'm just gonna let it be. Acceptance or rejection, I'l continue to keep the fire blazing inside.

To ol de massives n de crew, mi se to u, it's 2012, de year o de dragon, wi ssspiting fire inadi land ya hear me, me burn dem. Big up to urselves. Ei 1984s, link up wi de rudeboy ye, One love.

This is actually a slang from the Caribbean Islands, other s might argue that it's "Jamaican Potois" (meaning that it's an English-African Creole Language). I'm listening to Dancehall now (a.k.a. Raggamufin riddims) from the Islands, and I guess I got carried away with de accent.

As for creating this duh thread, blame it on me painting almost the whole day yesterday (Saturday) till now. Geez, it's after 1am and I'm still wide awake, damn coffee, I had a strong coffee an hour ago.

I hate to burst your special bubble, but I'm pretty positive 2013 will match the calendar year of 1985, and 2014 will match the calender year of 1986. So it's not really that amazing of an occurrence that needs its own thread here, in my opinion. But, maybe I'm alone in that thought.

But you do know that people actually speak that here right? Regardless of it's claim to the Caribbean. At least you admit that this thread is a little tati so that makes it more tolerable (^.^,). Happy painting! If the letters J-E-T-f-o-r-u-m-s magically emerge from it, we'll know why. XD
