the reason why there haven't been more tsunamis is that the quake has to shake for a reasonably long time (upwards of about 30 secs to a minute) in order to get the water moving... there have actually been more tsunamis, but since they've only been about 30cm-1m or so, you probably won't have heard about them unless you live in fukushima, miyagi, iwate or the east coast of hokkaido....
