Do JET ever give an indication of how many positions are available before the interviews? I know the site says 41 applicants were sent over last year, but I assume that number fluctuates from year to year depending on how many current ALTs reapply and the actual demand for ALTs.
Also, does anyone have any idea of how many people were interviewed on Wednesday? The computer programmer in me wants to crunch numbers.
I interviewed two years ago and got alternate status! Dunno what that says about me. Half a weirdo?! Hahaha. Hopefully I acquitted myself better this time around, but only time will tell.
I assume you didn't get the position after you got that Alternate status, but did you reapply last year or take a year out from applying?
