Assuming that everything was sent to the embassies/consulates at the same time, we can assume that the results have arrived in the UK. The last day that the embassy was open was Thursday, but if they had received the post on Thursday then surely the US applicants would have heard earlier as most of their embassies did not have Good Friday/Easter Monday off. Safely assuming that results have arrived at the London Embassy today, we can say that they will be sent out at the end of today or beginning of tomorrow. Give the post a day to sort itself out, and we arrive with Thursday being the day of destiny.

So although I'll be continuing Post Watch day 5, I'm not expecting much today.

Wish that we in the UK had someone as awesome as miami_coordinator to keep us up to date! Why, oh why, don't we get emails too?!

^This. I'm hoping for tomorrow but realistically I think Thursday is the best shout!

^This. So jealous! You'd think emails would be easier & more cost effective.

we got letters, too... i think... (i'm a 2011, before anyone freaks out again. :P) anyway, i'm fairly certain a major part in US's use of email is that sending things by US post can take considerably longer than UK post, solely because there's much more of the US to traverse! (it's still a bit shocking to me that sending [domestic, non-express] mail here typically arrives 1-3 days after being sent!)

Are you abroad at the mo? Yeah let us know, that would be great. Hope you're somewhere nice and sunny 8) Think of us poor souls bracing snow in April

Yeah it's a shame we don't have our own co-ordinator on here. It would be so much better be kept more in the loop and have our questions answered by someone.

I rushed home to check this thread! Glad no-one has got anything  . From last year's result thread it seemed like there was a pattern; that shortlisted heard first and then rejected/alternated second. I'm not saying it will be the same this year but to see people posting shortlisted results and me coming home to no post would have KILLED me!

Hey guys I'm a SA applicant and am so glad we aren't the only ones still out of the loop! I reckon we'll know by Thursday too. The wait is killing me more so because I'm paranoid that I won't be on the shortlist. But I'll squeeze out the last bit of positivity I have left in me.

I guess the South Africans should count ourselves lucky to receive e-mail notifications as opposed to waiting for the postman!

@Thasa_M shame that is sooo sad! RE: the guy who had to leave...we didn't even have to bring our passports to the interview dang that's rough!

The best of luck to you all :)

I understand....I am one of the US people still waiting on results. Seeing everyone find out is just cruel. I hope you guys get news soon.

yeah proper rough, i think it was more of a security issue rather than a identity issue..maybe? as it was held in the Japanese Embassy it was like looking at my biggest fear unfold infront of me..... Good luck to everyone.. who knows mybe in 12 hours some of us will know >>>?? WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF

Ah, I wasn't able to stop myself secretly checking the forums multiple times at work today!

I was expecting a twitter update today to say they've got the results or something but nothing. I reckon it will be Thursday but I'll hold onto the hope of something tomorrow! I do hope that they might send e-mails in addition to the post this year since they did for some interviews. Checking my e-mail is less frustrating than waiting for the post!
