Omg! Thanks so much~ I don't have a car too but I can also chip in by helping carry the stuffs  I went to submit my CoC & CoH earlier today. I don't know if Tina's count of 23 included us, the alternates...but she did mention that 3/4 alternates were promoted. Perhaps 25 sets would be a rather safe gauge?

MICA is offering us one set of publications/postcard per person and 300 pins, so for 23 of us that comes up to about 12 per person. What do you guys think?

Any current JETs can enlighten us on how many they send to you in Japan when you write to them?

Hey rinforest, thanks for contacting MICA and count me in for the ferrying of stuff (no wheels, hands and legs only )
I think 10-15 pins sound okay, as does one set of postcards. Publications - I have my doubts about their usefulness so I wouldn't want more than 1 set

Thanks for coordinating with MICA! I don't mind helping too, when r u going to collect?

I can bring along my pair of wheels ... oh no, not what you are thinking  .... wheels as in a small trolley that I have. I just used it to ferry my stuff back from my office the other day.

those pins and postcards are gonna come in really handy! They'll be great to show when you go to ES or as lucky prizes in JHS games.

On my side, my BOE has yet to inform us of our successors, but I assume it's this week when we go for our leaving JETs meeting.

hello all! :D:D

finally caught up with all the action, having been w/o internet for the past 2 weeks.

thanks rinforest for liaising with MICA. I gladly offer my 2 hands too :D
I think that pins and postcards are great too.
Other than MICA, I think maybe we can get some stuff from Singapore Visitors Centre as well. I dropped by 2 years ago, and managed to get those free Singapore guides in Japanese and some luggage tags.

I have received a welcome email from my BOE along with the T&C, etc. They have not decided my schools and still no word from my pred.
