Any SoCal/Arizona JET alumni out there?

Greetings from Los Angeles! This is Tiffany, the new Program Coordinator for Southern California and Arizona.

A bit of a jikoshokai: I worked from 2006-2011 in Toyama Prefecture as an ALT and spent the last two years of my tenure working as the PA. I started working for JET again at the LA Consulate in May 2012. I'm thrilled to be working for the program again!

I'm wondering if there are any SoCal/Arizona alum kicking around these boards? If so, PM me! I'd love to know when/where you worked on the JET Program, when you got back to the States, and what you're up to now that you're back.

Additionally, I'm keen to start thinking about how the Consulate can better serve JETs upon their return. If you have any suggestions or anecdotes about your transition from Japan back to the states, I'm all ears.
