The girls promptly whip out the cell phones they aren't supposed to be carrying to take pictures, and the bear suddenly develops an aptitude for making the peace sign. Only in Japan.

I dunno, I think the likelihood of "EEEEE, KAWAIII!!!" reactions might be directly related to (1) the size and age of the grizzly and (2) whether it is wearing specially made clothes (specifically, a specially made bear-shaped disney character costume...let's say pooh bear or stitch...)

...

.....I'm beginning to think we can manufacture this scenario.

Alright you chaps, free ALT position in Chiba to anyone who can bring me a baby and/or pygmy grizzly bear! :D (We'll quietly off one of the more troublesome present goons and give you their ID. All gaijin look same, right?)

Heeeeeeeey... my beard isn't *THAT* bad!

(...is it? )

I'll get right to work on that! XD

And I think a beard is ok as long as people don't start mistaking you for Santa Claus and tugging it to see if its real.

Ben's beard is excellent. If I was a bird, I would nest there. If I myself could grow a beard like that, I would. And I would store food rations inside.

No santa action, he's too young and no white hairs. We're talking full on lumberjack style - tres cool.

You joke, but it's a real problem...

Oh great, now I'm imagining trying to get dango sauce out of my beard after someone shoved a whole stick in there. Ewwwwww.

Hopefully it was the anko variety. I imagine the honey or sesame would pose more of a dilemma. :?

I was thinking of the sticky shouyu stuff. But honey would be even worse.

Hmmm, I wonder if anko works as well as peanut butter for getting things like gum out of hair? It seems like it would grease things up and wash out easily enough...
