Shipping a PS3 back to America

Postby shadowfire » Mon Jul 23, 2012 9:58 am

Hi,

I went to the post office today to try to ship my PS3 back to the States. I was told I could not do that because of the batteries or something like that. I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas on how to get it back to America. I am not sure if it matters but I purchased it in America and had it shipped over after I got here. I really would prefer not to have to leave it to my successor and buy a new one.
Thanks!

Take the batteries out of the controllers and ship it. Bring the batteries in your carry-on when you fly back.

Or just pack the whole thing in a suitcase when you fly back; it'll probably be fine.

Just keep it in your backpack when you fly home?

Or yeah, just put it in your standard luggage- its not like if you posted it it wouldnt undergo the same treatment. It'd be worse posting it even, lots of conveyorbelts and whatnot beyond the airport and at the post office and all that.

Yeah I brought mine in my book bag when I came. Best, safest, and cheapest bet when it comes to laptops and gaming consoles.
