As the JET Programme celebrates its 25th year, there are approximately 55,000 JET alumni spread across the world who made Japan their home for a period of one to five years. Some remain in Japan as a result, while others begin their next step in life by returning to their home countries.
In this section, former JET participants can find important information about the JET Alumni Association (JETAA), which is an independent organisation comprised of former JET participants. As of July 2011, JETAA is active in 17 countries and consists of 52 chapters that boast a total of approximately 24,000 members.
In this section you can also view JET Streams, the JET Programme Alumni Association Newsletter, as well as find essential information about how to file and obtain your pension refund. You can also update your address details with CLAIR via the JETAA Membership and Entry Update Form. Providing us with your most recent contact information will allow us to notify you of any updates, as well as inform you of any JET-related events that are held in your area.
