CLAIR News is distributed to JET participants once every two months. The publication is often the primary source of direct communication between CLAIR and JET participants. As so, CLAIR highly recommends that all JETs thoroughly read CLAIR News and discuss any pertinent issues that are mentioned within with their supervisor and/or JTE.

CLAIR News is printed in both English and Japanese, allowing for JET participants and their supervisors to discuss the same topics. CLAIR News is a source of vital information to all JET participants, and CLAIR encourages JET participants to keep these on file while participating on the Programme.

CLAIR News is sent directly to JET participants by e-mail, as designated by each JET participant on the JET Programme Participant Contact Information & Confirmation Japanese Language Course Application Form, filled out during the first month of the first year on the Programme. Any JET participants who have moved or changed their e-mail address should fax this form to CLAIR.
