JET participants taking the advanced level of the Japanese Language Course have a short essay topic included as part of their monthly tests. Participants must write in Japanese about the topic and submit this along with their monthly test. CLAIR receives these essays and evaluates them based on style and grammar and then chooses the top 15 to 20. After obtaining permission from the authors, these 15 essays below are available for all to read. Check out the essays online to polish up your own Japanese skills while seeing just how insightful - and fluent - JETs are!
